So we head to downtown Burlington and participate in half priced burger day at Ri Ra Irish Pub on Church Street. What a horrible meal this is. Stale bread meets dry meat. Nearly inedible grease only fries are served at room temperature. I can smell the dirty bathrooms long before I make it down three entire flights of stairs to the dark basement.

Our server takes twenty-two minutes to bring us our food. Today’s meal is a real loser.

The local YMCA hosts us for a workout and steamy hot shower, and then we browse the art galleries and eclectic fair trade stores. We walk the quiet green downtown public parks then head for the very long slow drive up along the lake.
