New Hampshire on $20 a dayThis is part of an 18 week, 7,532 mile, Vanabode road trip detailed in the
book from Amazon We meet up with Jack, on the wall, oceanfront, in Hampton Beach New Hampshire. Jack details living here: working on Martha’s Vineyard Island, dealing with big storms, living where snow and ice covers roads and houses right on the Atlantic beachfront, high real estate taxes (quadruple Florida’s rate), and job seasonality. We cruise along the ocean at bicycle speed, pulling off every five minutes or so to walk over the rocks, or stroll through a marina, or flip flop over a boardwalk; to see the Atlantic, the rocky beaches, the quiet bays, lakes and inlets, tourist shops and boats. It is quite a treat to travel this way, without time constraints. We never have check in or check out times. In Errol they are having an annual parade. We pull over and get right into it. Above: This awesome guy hand raised and trained these big beautiful oxen to walk freely among big noisy situations and through crowds without stressing or running. They march and turn under his gentle commands, obviously having spent a lot of time with him over many years.
